I need help with downloading my Camera Uploads folder as it's too big to download via a browser.

Hi guys

My camera photos sync to my camera photos folder in dropbox and I want to download them onto my mac but it says the folder is too big to download. How do I even select half my files to download and download the other half? And how do I stop making the problem worse as everytime i sync my phone it uploads my new photos to the same folder making the problem continue to get worse.

thank you

One option would be to install the Desktop app, there is no limitation on the folder size or on number of files to sync via desktop app. If you want to download only via browser, in that case you can split/organize your photos in smaller folders (no more than 20GB in size and contains fewer than 10,000 files). You may like to create subfolders inside your Camera Uploads, say  2020, 2019 etc. to organize the photos year-wise.
