I created a business dropbox account and a personal dropbox account.  I installed the app on my mac book air for the business account.  But now I want to use the personal dropbox.  I uninstalled the business dropbox completely.  But whenever I sign and try to run the installation for the personal dropbox on my laptop it automaticaly installs the business dropbox.  How can I install the personal dropbox on my laptop?

Hello @RNM, thanks for reaching out here!

In the case that you'd like to have both accounts linked and syncing to separate Dropbox folders on your computer via the desktop app, you can check out the steps here to do this.

Otherwise, you can sign into your Business account online and visit your Security page, where you can unlink the computer from that account.

You'll then be prompted to sign into an account when the desktop app is installed.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!

To switch between your Dropbox Business and personal account in the Dropbox desktop app:

  1. Open the Dropbox desktop app.
  2. Click your email address in the lower left corner.
  3. Click the account you’d like to switch to.
