I have been getting the message on my Windows 10 computer that Dropbox (free version) is full. It will not let me download pictures from my phone. I have totally emptied Dropbox and have checked it both in the local file and in the cloud. Both show as being totally emptied. I have restarted my computer and still they both show empty but say full when trying to import pictures.
Hey @katzgrandma, assuming that your Account tab indicates that you're underquota now, I’d suggest starting off by checking whether there’s a missing update on your pc(tip: our latest Stable version is: 72.4.136) or your phone(140.2).Since it appears thatyour settings wouldn’t stick, it would be worth unlinking & relinking once & see if your space usage is reflected across devices. Should you decide to follow my advice, let me quickly remind you that Basic users currently have a three device limit, which you may need to take into consideration before proceeding to action.
From there, as you mentioned that you’re getting an error message when trying to import your photos, I’d appreciate a screenshot(omitting personal info), so as to better determine what's happening; please include it in your next message if possible.
