I would to have acess to my Mac Computers "desktop" folder in my dropbox on my iphone, ipad and other computers
I have done it in the past, but got a new computer and cannot figure out how to do it, I think its via a Symlink, but not sure
any hepl or expalanation is appreciated
It likely was done previously with a symlink, but symlinks no longer function the same way with Dropbox. Dropbox no longer syncs files that are located at the other end of a symlink outside of your Dropbox.
The only way to do it with a symlink now would be to move the Desktop folder into Dropbox (if possible) and place the symlink in the original location pointing back to the Desktop folder in Dropbox.
