Hi, I am trying to reinstall dropbox on my mac which the version is OS X Yosemite. I have tried all the methods, including uninstall and reinstall, fill in proxy settings the same as my network preference setting. It still does not work. It shows that my proxy setting is incorrect. Do you why is that?

Can you first make sure that there's no antivirus, firewalls or a weird VPN/proxy setting from a 3rd party app or service that could be causing this?
If you're running any of the aforementioned software, you can temporarily disable them (or add Dropbox to their whitelist) and try re-installing the app using the offline installer instead this time.
If the matter persists, please send me a screenshot of the exact error you get so I can investigate further.

Hi Walter,
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it does not work. Please see the following screenshot. As soon as I reinstalled, it shows picture 1. When I set up proxy server (I have tried all three options), it shows picture 2.
