Hello
I'm having trouble installing the software on a new computer. A new computer with win 10 pro.
I'm getting an error message. Attached is file # 1.

Then I tried installation from the full file and I get an error again. Attachment is file number 2.

Hey there @ICIK - sorry to hear you're having issues with installing our desktop app on your Windows 10 conputer. 

As a first step here, could you ensure that there's no antivirus, firewall or a proxy/VPN setting that could be preventing our installer from downloading and installing properly?

If you have any of those, could you temporarily disable them and try the offline installer from the following page directly?

Let me know the results!

PS: You might want to reboot your computer and router as well as this might do the trick for you :wink:

anti virus and firrall I already turned off.

Dont know what is proxy

I see, thanks for the additional information @ICIK.

At this point, I'll have to ask if you can try doing this on another network as there seems to be an issue with your internet connection. 

You should also ensure that your local network connection settings allow access to Dropbox domains. If you are on a corporate network and are not sure if the Dropbox domains are accessible on this network, you may need to contact your company's network administrator or IT (if that's the case).

You can view this list of domains used by Dropbox on the Dropbox Help Center article here: https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/security/official-domains
