Is the mobile app available on an Android device running 4.1.2?

Is the mobile app available on an Android device running 4.1.2?

Dropbox works fine on my PC, but the Dropbox app on my Samsung Galaxy Camera (model EK-GC1009) is apparently now out of date, so it tells me to download the latest version from Google Playstore.

As other users have found, Google Playstore says it cannot provide a replacement version and I need to contact Dropbox. I have read your comments on this, so checked which version of androd I am running on the Samsung Galaxy, and it is v. 4.1.2, so should be okay Please can you advise how I get round this problem?

Many thanks

Andrew

Hi there @android1, thanks for checking in with us on the Dropbox Community.

Currently, to install the Dropbox mobile app on your Android device, you need to Android 4.4 or above.

However, you may still be able to navigate to your Dropbox account via the website, using your mobile's web browser.

I understand this may not be the ideal reply you were looking for, but let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
