Issue adding document from Dropbox to ipad email - Dropbox “hangs”

Using IPad OS. Ipad mail application. Choosing "add document" to insert a document from Dropbox to the email. 

I am able to scroll through the drop box folders and then select a file to download. The download symbol turns into a circle and then hangs indefinitely. 

No issue when doing this from Google drive or iCloud drive .

Hi there @Malmacdowall, I'd be more than happy to help!

As a first step, could you please try out the following and see if they help?

  • Connect to a different WiFi and/or use your cellular data. 
  • Clear the Dropbox mobile app's cache. 
  • Toggle the option to have Dropbox as a location on your Files app off and on again.

Clearing the cache by Deleting the app and reinstalling it seems to have worked .
