Linux + Dropbox Plus

Linux + Dropbox Plus

Hello everyone! I would like to copy the Dropbox plus plan for such a task - synchronizing a folder in Linux with my account in a dropbox.
Will the dropbox plus tariff be enough?
Folder size 500 GB.
I will use rclone
Thank you for your answer and have a nice day.

Hey @Vladislav2, thanks for reaching out to us!

Your Dropbox Plus plan definitely gives you enough space to sync your 500 GB folder to your Dropbox account using the Dropbox application.

However, keep in mind that if you're syncing files using the desktop application, these files will need to also take up space on your disk.

If you don't have an extra 500 GB of disk space, as a workaround, you can sync the files in batches, use selective sync to free up their space and move on to the next batch, etc.

Let me know if you have any questions!
