Why does Dropbox only support ext4 filesystem for Linux?   WHY should it matter what FS is being used?

Hi @dave m.20, thanks for posting on the Community!

The Dropbox desktop application on Linux is compatible with ext4, eCryptFS (back by ext4), btrfs, xfs and zfs (on 64-bit systems only).

Hope this helps to clarify matters!
