Local Sync without Internet Connection

I'm going to be at a remote location which has no internet access. Is there a way to get my two dropbox-installed computers which have the same account to sync locally to each other without it? 

If not, is there an alternative software that would let me do this?

No, that's not possible. Dropbox requires access to your account in order to to verify and sync files. Best bet is to try a Google search to find other sync options that run across a local network.
