I guess, first, I'll answer all the questions that you all will ask.
I have a Basic account. I only have 2 [android] devices (my account says) linked to my account.
Only 1 of the devices is actually signed-in to Dropbox (that's what I called linked); when I TRY to log-in the 2nd device, it just keeps giving me "Log-in Failed - Unknown Error - Please contact Dropbox Support".
On that kinda-maybe-sort of "linked" device, I have: a) changed my password; b) used a one-time link to log-in; c) cleared cache and data for the app; d) UNinstalled and then REinstalled the app; e) cleared cache and data on the newly RE-installed app; and f) have tried to sign in with Google.
NOTHING has worked. Same error message each and every time.
This is awful timing, as I am trying to get do a backup data from the hinky device to Dropbox, so I can trade hinky-dinky in for a new phone under insurance.
I would REALLY appreciate some advice on how to empty this swamp. Thank you!
