Log in grayed/grey out in Win10 Dropbox app

Log in grayed/grey out in Win10 Dropbox app

Hi everybody,

I have a professional (paid by my company), a Personal, and a Professional-Personal accounts. I'm trying to unlink my Personal account from my laptop and link it to my Professional-Personal account but the email area of the log in details is grayed/grey out. Any fix for this issue?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the screenshot @Cazza85!

Do you still possibly have the Business account linked to the desktop app? This would explain why the login screen is showing "Sign into your personal account" and locking in that email address.

You would only be able to link 2 accounts to the desktop app if they're connected. If you have the personal account linked with the Business account, I can suggest disconnecting it from your Business account and then connect the Professional personal account.

Keep me posted with your findings!

Hey there @Cazza85, I hope you're having a good day so far!

Can you try reinstalling the desktop app to see if that does the trick?

If not, please send me a screenshot of the greyed out sign in area and let me know which version of the app you have installed? You should be able to see the version by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar.

Let me know how it goes!

Hi @Daphne , disconnecting the accounts seems to have done the trick. Thanks a lot for your help!
