Mistakenly Uninstalled Dropbox and Reinstalled but now no files

My desktop computer was running Dropbox.  I mistakenly un-installed the app.  When I tried to reinstall, I had to create a new account.  I used the same password I use for the old account, hoping to pick-up where I left off.  I have a lot of my life in the Dropbox!  Anyway, now I only have an empty, new account.  I am stuck!  What do I need to do to recover all my files on the old account?  Which I pay for monthly, as well.

If you've only uninstalled the app from your computer, it doesn't mean that you have erased your dropbox account. So your old account should be there somewhere. Do you remember which one of your e-mails you used to create the account or which one was associated to it?
