Mobile app won't start up on my Android device

Mobile app won't start up on my Android device

Spiderhr
Explorer | Level 3

Mobile phone is Lenovo P1ma40 (2/16 GB) and Android 5.1 (latest version for this mobile).

From a few days ago I can not enter the application.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

Which latest Android version supports the app?

Hi there, Android 4.4 is the earliest version of the OS that can support the Dropbox mobile app.

Could you forward a screenshot of the last screen you are in when you experience this issue. If you can send us a screencast, that would be useful too!

Any error messages would also be helpful! Otherwise, is the app closing suddenly, or you’re not able to login? Any details would be great!

I started an earlier thread as I had the same problem with Android 5.1.

The current best solution is to download and install the apk for version 110 (sept 8 version) I have not seen any responses from tech support indicating a new fixed version is out. Note that if you have Google Play auto update on, this will wipe over the fix. (Thus I haven't marked it as "best solution" and am waiting for new updated apk fix)

Cannot send screenshot. App is open and immediately close.

Could you confirm you’re not running the beta version of the Dropbox mobile app?

Visit “Settings” and select “Apps”. From the list of Apps that appears, select the App that won't open. Now tap on “Clear Cache” and “Clear data” directly or under “Storage”. MyCCPay Portal
