How can I changes where original Dropbox files reside? My 500GB laptop has 304GB of Dropbox files but my 2TB desktop only 180GB, I'd like to move files from laptop to desktop.

Hello @Bucky70 Welcome!

Your Dropbox folder can be moved to any location on your hard drive or an external hard drive using the Dropbox desktop app.

There are a few important details to talk about if you choose to move it to your external hard drive. You find step by step instructions and all  the info you need about this process in the following Help center article.

I am here for all your questions.

Thank you!
