My dropbox icon had missing since yesterday. I saw in control panel, it seems 19/09/19 (yesterday) seems have an update because the file stated 19/09/19.
I tried click on the setup/restart the service, the icon couldn't appear and it couldnt synchronise too. I uninstall and reinstall it, but it couldnt run too.
One of my friend also having this problem.
Thanks for getting back to me, @kvin.
In this case, it could be that updating the DisplayLink drivers of the affected computer may do the trick.
Make sure to choose the correct version depending on the version of your Windows OS and then restart your computer.
At this point you should be able to run the latest version of the Dropbox desktop application.
Let me know what you find!

Hello @kvin,
Welcome to the Dropbox Community!
As a first step, since the desktop app's startup may be blocked by a third party app like a security program, could you please temporarily disable your antivirus and ensure that you've configured your firewall to work with Dropbox?
Let me know how it goes!
