My desktop application is stuck at starting. Can you help?

I have reinstalled db many times.  This time it is stuck in "starting" and I am not syncing.  please help

Sorry to hear that, @Smattingly.

Have you tried an advanced reinstall by any chance? Maybe that will do the trick. Please bear in mind that in case you have a lot of files stored in Dropbox, you can also improve the performance of your desktop app by using selective sync
