New Mac, Time Machine Backup, Dropbox autoconnected Desktop

New Mac, Time Machine Backup, Dropbox autoconnected Desktop

Hi,

hope my english is fine enough to explain you my problem.

Got a new macbook pro, used time machine to transfer all my datas.

my desktop got automatically connected to my dropbox, after the backup.

I only got 5 GB, so dropbox says not enough storage to upload the full desktop.

But: im not able to remove the desktop from dropbox, i can unclick it in the dropbox settings, but it wont remove from my dropbox, cause the sync process is not finished.

How can i solve this problem, remove my desktop from dropbox and get it back on my mac?

Thanks a lot

Alex

Hi @Brennerchen; thanks for joining our Community and sorry to hear you're having issues with our computer backup feature.

To make sure we're on the same page, can you please send us a screenshot of the the app's exact status as shown in your menu bar?

Thanks so much, Alex!
