Not receiving verification code via text message

Hey, So I have a new device a started to go thrrough the login process and upon getting the the stage where I need to receive a code from Dropbox via SMS,I can see the number is correct (last two digits) but for whatever reason I never receive the code.. It has worked for me in the past - is there an issue with that part of the system?

It seems an hour if not 90 minutes later I received 10 codes!!!

Hi there, if you’re not receiving the SMS code, try using the steps here to regain access to your account and change or edit the number, just in case something has changed there. 
 
Additionally, have you checked with your phone carrier to ensure that your SMS messages aren’t being blocked?

Hmm… It sounds like your phone carrier was either blocking the number temporarily, or was slow in sending them out!
 
Let me know if you experience any further issues with the codes.

I experience the same problems over and over again, dropbox you need to improve your SMS service, it is not carrier issue, as lastpass, google working all fine except stupid dropbox! I am going to exit dropbox, terrible products, waste our money to use dropbox.

I have the same issue. I never receive a SMS for 2FA. Either the service is just bad or the system has a bug.

This is not an issue with the carrier. It is your text messaging service that is flawed.
