I am using Dropbox 118.4.460 on Windows 10.
I have the following notification problem.
When someone adds a file, I do not get a notification immediately.
Only when yet another one adds a file, I get a notification from the previous change. But not from the most recent change.
Seems a very similar problem to: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-installs-integrations/Strange-notification-issue/td-p/436821
There, the solution was a new Dropbox version. But I am using the latest version already.
Please help.
Hi @peterdeboer, thanks for your post!
Similarly to the post you mentioned, have you also tried disabling any third party apps or security software?
Also, can you clarify exactly how this is working for you?
When the older notification does come, do you also get one for the new change? Or just the old notification and then with the next change, comes the next notification, and so on?
Any additional information would be really helpful!

Yes, I have tried disabling all other software.
And it is the latter. At each change, I get the notification from the previous change.

No pending OS updates.
I am using Dropbox only with my laptop, not with any other devices.
Notifications for other tools (if that is what you mean) work fine, it is only Dropbox showing this weird behaviour.

Yes, already did that just before I posted my issue.

I have done the advanced reinstall, and tested it during the weekend.
At first, it seemed to work. I received notifications for changes immediately when they happened.
But at one point, there was a change, but I did not get a notification.
Then, at the next change, I got a notification from that previous change.
So I am now back to were I was before: at each change I get a notification from the previous change.
