I have a weird problem: Everytime I upload or want to download from online dropbox or other dropbox accounts the internet stops working and all devices connected to my wifi router loose connection to the internet. A simple ping test from my terminal however shows, that the devices are still connected to the router and the home network, but the router is not connected to internet amymore.
I am on chrome and osx el capitan.
I already cleared my cache and my dns cache. I have enough space, locally and in the cloud and no connection errors whatsoever with other pages or internet related things.
Any help is appreciated!
hi, I am having trouble using the db web client. somehow uploading or downloading files, even the drobbox app, which I wanted to install today, breaks my internet connection. no devices can connect to the wifi network anymore or vie the ethernet. I have to manually restart the router, then reload, then it's working for one click only, then everything breaks down again.
could this be a DNS problem?
thx,
Simon
Hi @Spleeen, thanks for providing these details!
Just to be certain that this isn't specifically browser related, could you try switching browsers to see if this helps?
Otherwise, you can try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.
This will help me assist further!
