Panda Endpoint Protection - Antivirus detecting a threat from Dropbox.

Hi,

Since last week one of my clients started getting this notification from their Antivirus:

Threat details
Threat type: Phishing
Malware type: Phishing and fraud
Detected by: Web protection
Date: 4/24/2020 11:41:40 AM
They are using dropbox and I've scanned the computers that have popped up with the message, so I think it's a false positive on the AV side, but I would rather mather make sure then ignoring it or whitelisting the detection path.

So any feedback would be welcomed?

Thanks

Hi @cmceres83, thanks for reaching out to us here!

Sometimes Antivirus software can pick up false positives from the desktop app’s cache folder as it contains temporary files that are used during syncing.

However, from the path that you mentioned it does indeed seem to be one of our official domains, which you can check out here.

It’s most likely used for checking for any changes that may need syncing between the app and the account online.

Let me know if this helps!
