Prevent Dropbox from keeping the computer from going to sleep

Prevent Dropbox from keeping the computer from going to sleep

So, as the title says, when dropbox is running, it's preventing the computer from going to sleep.

How do I prevent this behavior?

Hey there @ColWarG; welcome to our Community!

I haven't seen that behavior on my Windows 10 machine, to be honest, is the app just running or syncing in your system tray/menu bar

Specifically, is the app reporting to be 'up to date' or syncing when this happens?

Let me know what you find and we'll take it from there.

The machine is set to go to sleep after 2 hours of inactivity, jiggling the mouse produces no reponse, you must press the power button to wake the machine.

When dropbox is running, it is preventing this.

I terminate the app and the machine goes to sleep after two hours.

So what's up with this? I get three notifications that someone answered my question and find nothing?
