We are sharing documents via dropbox. Recently, we got a trouble when we open our documents. For example, I open a word file, it shows error
"This document could not be registered. It will not be possible to create links from other documents to this document." I am then click OK, It shows another error " The file cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents." I am wondering what does it means. Does there any help can fix my problems as soon as possible?
If one Word document won’t open, then it doesn’t mean that there is something wrong with that document. It might be something wrong with the workstation or the version of Word on the workstation. To9 troubleshoot this problem you need to:
First, try opening other Word documents on the workstation. If nothing opens on the workstation, then it might be a bigger issue.
If other files will open, then you can try opening the file on another workstation on your network. This will you will be sure that the problem is with the Word document itself and not something peculiar on the workstation.
If this does not help you then recover your document and word files with the help of Word File Repair Tool. It is the best repair tool that is especially designed for repair and recover corrupt or inaccessible (.doc) and (.docx) files. It extracts the content from the file and rebuilds a new healthy word file that you can access easily.
