Hi - I've had the same problem thsi morning on two of my machines using F-Prot antivirus - have reported it to the helpdesk at CYREN AV product Support for F-Prot

Hi - I've had the same problem (Qt5PrintSupport.dll ) as well using F-Prot antivirus. Little impact as I do not use the sync option, instead I upload using a browser and drag and drop. I mention this as it is always a temporary option for some.

I rarely get false positives with F-Prot, this is the 2nd one in 12 months but both were with Dropbox. Maybe some code library that Dropbox is using.

Thanks to all for pinging me back here on this matter! I’m wondering if you’ve included the library that’s been triggering this message to your ignore list so that Dropbox can sync correctly &/or temporarily disable your antivirus (i.e. so as to sync your important files to our website) as a temporary workaround.

If you’re still facing an issue after trying my suggestion, please let me know here!

I have the same problem since 21:25 UCT 14th March 2019 (yesterday)

(Forum doesn't allow me to post my screenshot...grrr)

F-Prot reports: "Found Trojan WS-64706cc6!Eldorado" Qt5PrintSupport.dll  in C:\Program_Files_(x86)\Dropbox\Client_68.4.102\

I can still use Dropbox Web and Dropbox Android.

I am sharing this info with F-Prot too.

Dropbox won't start on my PC which actually defeats the whole point of using it. Please help.

Hi Jane - As a temporary measure - yes I can confirm that if you add an exclusion for C:\Program_Files_(x86)\Dropbox\Client in F-prot,  stop and start F-prot Dropbox then  appears again in the taskbar and starts to sync.

Hi Jane - CYREN F-Prot have now confirmed a fix by amendments to the heuristic rules which was impacting on several QT5 dll's - I have removed my temporary exclusion rule and checked - Dropbox is now working ok.

I can confirm the same that F-Prot is now working without the QT5 dll exclusion. Thanks to everybody who got this sorted.
