Random syncing

UD16

I just installed Dropbox on a new computer and it seems to be syncing photos from my other computer or an email that my new computer is not connected to.
-How do I find out where it is syncing from?
- how do I stop it?
- how is that even possible?!

Thanks for your help!

Hi @UD16,

Is this the first time you use a sync service? 🙂 Anyway...

When new machine gets connect (or relinking some) the content of your account gets in sync locally.

Better question would be why is in use some sync service, like Dropbox? Possible ways are uninstall or pause to stop completely. If you want to stop some local content gets in sync with your account, use "Ignore". In opposite case, don't want a part of account content gets in sync locally, use "Selective Sync".

🤔 What are you expecting? 🤷 That's exactly its work.

Hope this clarify matter.
