Reinstall fails using cellular data connection.

Dropbox iPhone app. with only 180MB does not download as update or reinstall using cellular data. Reinstall to free
1+ GB DpBx cache on device that crashed other apps. & OS with data loss. All text msg histories wiped out as well as unsaved backup because DrBx cache grew too large on device again despite manually using DrBx "clear cache" feature. Why does cache encroach device mem? Why can't it be kept on DrBx or iCloud? How should I resolve all related issues? Why must one maybe use WiFi which is backed up w/cellular amyway, if needed? My connections were excellent but DrBx kept repeating to "Try again." I closed services running in the background, rebooted, etc

Maybe even tho your connection is showing its 100%, it can be a slow processing issue. When WiFi is on, mobile data isn't necessarily backing it up. You save your data when using WiFi. So maybe the WiFi has a slow upload speed?
