Restricting 3rd Party Apps

Restricting 3rd Party Apps

New member | Level 2

An app has requested access to my dropbox so it can store/edit song lyrics. I thought it would only need access to one folder but it seems to be asking for access to full dropbox.

Is there a way to lock it down to one folder? As it will be accessign with my ID I assume it will also be difficult to trace.

Aso a way to monitor what it is reading/writing to in dropbox?

I'm afraid its the app developer who chooses if its single folder or full access. There is not a way via Dropbox to alter that.

There are also no audits available of what its accessing.
