Seeing files in Dropbox that are not on my computer

Seeing files in Dropbox that are not on my computer

John C.166

I thought I saw a notice months ago that enabled me to see files that were in my Dropbox but not physically on my computer until I opened it. Is that still an option? If so, what is it called?

Thank you for looking.

Hi @John C.166,

You must be referring to Smart Sync, a feature that enables you to access every file and folder in your Dropbox account from your computer, using virtually no hard drive space.

At the moment Smart sync is only available for Dropbox Business users, you can read more here.

Thank you!
