Can't sign in to your Dropbox apl on android. It says, "Unknown error, please contact customer support." No problems signing in on the browser. Thanks for the assist!

Hi @leovince23; welcome to our Community!

 

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with signing into your account via the mobile app on your Android device and I'll be glad to look into this for you.

 

To do so, can you clarify the exact OS and model of the device having this issue and, if you're on the free, Basic plan, check if this device would put you over your account's device limit?

Thanks for the additional information @leovince23!

 

You haven't clarified; are you on the free, Basic plan? 

 

This plan comes with a limit to the devices you can connect to your account so if you're on that plan, can you check how many devices are connected to your account by taking a look at your account's security page

 

If it's more than 3, you'll need to unlink some devices to drop below your account's limit before installing the mobile app.

Could you also check how many devices are already connected to your account on your Security page
