After years of use, my access stopped from my MBP laptop. I still see current files, can access via browser, but cannot sign in after signing out. The blue Sign In button is spinning trying to access my account. I've tried on several different networks, so connection is not a problem. I've deleted the app and re-installed, restarted my computer and still have the same problems.

Anything which could be blocking Dropbox (antivirus? firewall? little snitch?)

Not that I can tell, I haven't added any new apps and do not use antivirus software. I can sign in on my imac and thru browser with no problem, just not on MBP anymore. It's a 2012 running 10.13.5.

Its a long shot, but, try an advanced install: https://www.dropbox.com/help/desktop-web/advanced-reinstall

Hey thetv, have you by any chance had the time to carry the re-installation as Mark suggested?

Tried the suggested steps but still not able to sign in from desktop as before.

Are you trying to sign in from the website? If so, have you tried a different browser, using incognito/private browsing, and ensured that you’re not running any browser extensions?
 
If you’re referring to the desktop app, could it be that a proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router issues that could be restricting traffic to the Dropbox domains
