So I have the dropbox app installed on my slack, but it doesn't seem to be working properly. For one, "dropbox" under "apps" down the bottom-left shows as offline. Secondly, when I shoose the shortcuts option in slack channels, the dropbox shortcuts don't appear and thirdly - when i share the link to a dropbox file, i'm always re-prompted to connect the dropbox app with slack -- when i follow the prompts, it shows that it is already connected.

Have you tried disconnecting Slack from Dropbox from here, uninstalling the Slack extension, and then reinstalling the extension and re-establishing the connection to Dropbox?
