I am having sync issues on Dropbox Business/Enterprise in OSX Mojave. In these forums there seems to be a number of posts about this with similar problems (large numbers of indexing/uploading/download files which arent actually being uploaded/downloaded) It is not down to symlinks or permissions. It started immediately after upgrade ot Mojave and has not synced since. Chat technical support asked me to try the latest beta but the problem persisted. I have sent screenshots of the problem including a repeated connect/disconnect problem (not due to the network connection). It is also not down to the number of files as I am already using selective sync. The problem is also specific to Mojave as other computers running Windows 10 or earlier versions of OSX (High Sierra) are also unaffected running the same desktop client version.
This has been going on for a couple of weeks now and email support has been woeful (repeated cut and paste responses about I should switch on selective sync).

Hello,
I have a 2018 MacBook Pro, running Mojave and the DropBox desktop application. My computer was running fine and then one day it failed to finish loading the DropBox app and the finder just hangs. Went through the usual SMC, NVRAM, etc. Only way to recover is a full wipe and reinstall which I have done now 4 times. System will work fine for a few days and then one morning the menu bar icon for DropBox won’t appear and the system hangs.
I have been running this same setup for several years on my previous Mac - never had a problem.
Thanks,
Leo

I am having the exact same problems on both my computers since upgrading to Mojave. Dropbox will not sync or tries to resync all files in the folder every time it is turned on (600,000+).
After upgrading to Mac OS Mojave both my iMac desktop and my Macbook laptop try to resync every single file every time the computer is turned on. This results in the computer being less than optional performance for days ad files not getting synced.
There is another thread about the exact same problem: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Installation-and-desktop-app/Dropbox-Issues-with-Mac-OS-Mojave/td-p/...
It's obvious that this is some general problem and not something to be fixed indivually ... Could you please inform me whether you are actually working on this? Or send me a note when you found a solution? I'm tired of checking this thread for news everyday. Also, I am working with dropbox usually on a day to day basis, for now I had to turn it off.

I have a Macbook laptop and iMac desktop both not syncing after Mojave upgrade. I did all the usual troubleshooting...quitting dropbox, deleting dropbox, reinstalling newest version, etc. None of that worked. These are the things the dropbox technical person recommended. However, it is clearly some glitch in the Dropbox software related to working with Mojave not my computers. One of my computers deleted the 770,000+ files I have in my Dropbox and then started "syncing" and reinstalling them after I installed new Dropbox software. After "syncing" for days, Dropbox is now working on my desktop but my laptop is still resyncing everything. Presumably when it finishes it will be OK.
Thanks for your reply. I did - and think - like Maureen4:

My syncing is kinda erratic though. Some days ago it got stuck at 12 files to sync, now it's stable at 240. Leaving the computer on over night doesn't change a thing.
