Dropbox was functioning on my laptop in the BigSur OSx up until the last couple of updates. Dropbox starts up after shutting down and restarting the laptop, but the synchronization process is hung up.
I have tried fixing the permissions based on another post I found, but it did not resolve the issue.

Hello, I am having the same problem. The latest big sur update has unlinked my dropbox folder location from my account. Some large folders have since been deleted and are not appearing in 'Deleted files' Tab.
