Hello,
I have version 97.4.467 installed on Elementary OS.
If I add files within file explorer they are not added to Dropbox.
If I add files on the web they immediately appear in explorer (download is instant).
So sync is only working one way.
I've tried everything, uninstall, reinstall, used different versions, installed via AppCentre, installed via command line - nothing I do can get it to work.
Hi, I solved it, it was something to do with more than 10000 folders, I fixed it via terminal.
Though it took me a very long time to resolve, it would be handy if the app informed you of such an error rather than having to find it via trial and error.
Update - if I pause syncing and re-enable it then this 'forces' a sync manually.
But anything I change afterwards is not uploaded, the sync does not happen automatically.
Hey there @simonv74, thanks for reaching out to us.
Out of curiosity, did you install the desktop app using our installer or with the headless install?
Keep me posted, cheers!
