I have a Synology NAS and looking into several options to sync it to the cloud. I started a trial for Dropbox Business and testing it out with some folders. I have a 7TB archive of RAW-files, each between 24-30MB/file. And did a test with 1,5GB fodler. Average upload speed from NAS to Dropbox using Cloud SYnc was 3,5MB/s. I have a 50MB/s internet connection... is this average upload speed normal or can I increase it? I already set the upload bandwidth to "Don't limit" in the Dropbox preferences.
Can you please clarify if you're uploading your files through the desktop app (since you mentioned that you changed the bandwidth settings through the app's preferences) or our active integration with the Synology app?
If the latter, changing the bandwidth settings on the app won't affect the upload's speed since the 3rd party app in question would be using our API endpoints to complete the upload.
Restarting your router might improve matters so give it a go if you like.
In any case, if you could provide me with a screenshot of where you're spotting this, I'd be happy to have a further look into this for you.
