The desktop app on one of my computers stops syncing sometimes

 Repeatedly over the last six months one of my devices will stop syncing. The dropbox icon at the bottom of the screen will disappear the only way to restore the sinking in the dropbox icon is to reinstall the software using the install feature on the webpage. This is been ongoing for sometime. Please advise why this is happening and how to fix it permanently. Thanks.

Hey @Hshap, thanks for checking in with us. 

Since you've already tried simply reinstalling the desktop app, could you try an advanced reinstall as well? Maybe that will do the trick.
