Hi there @CulpFiction and @kphalp

Thanks for keeping us in the loop and sorry to hear that you're still having trouble with your Recents tab on your desktop app.

Could you please clarify for me what happens when you double-click or right-click on a folder/file on your Recents tab?

Thanks in avdance!

When I click on the DB icon in my menu, I get the pull down window. I used to be able to click on the folder name and have it open the folder. My original problem in this thread, this folder was not not showing, so an update must have occurred and then it finally worked. A few weeks ago it stopped working, now when I click the folder nothing happens and I have to manually go to my folder now. Happens on 2 different laptops I use. Even if I try to option click, does nothing. I want the folder to open, not the file.

If I double click it just opens the file, and application. Previously I could do this if I double clicked the fle, which was fine, but I could click the folder name and it would open that folder in finder. This was preferable as obviously it gives me the choice, my default, to move to the folder containing related items. Right click now gives me options but again for the file. To open the folder I have to go to move to the ... symbols and choose the option to open in finder. This is clearly not as seamless as being able to just click on the folder name.

Lots of extra clicking around now. If it wasn't broken, why fix it?

The functionality has changed to give users the choice finally. If one of the smug moderators would like to offer a grovelling apology and an explanation for users of how to select the way they want things to work I can accept it as an answer.
