Reposting as I posted this same question in the wrong area.....
I recently purchased a Samsung S6. When I plug it into my laptop a Dropbox Camera Upload window pops open and asks if I would like to save all my photos and videos to be automatically saved to Dropbox. I click on Start Import and I get an error pop-up that reads...
'Some videos or photos couldn't be imported'
When in fact, nothing was imported to Dropbox from the phone. I also have a Samsung 10.1 2014 note and it works flawlessly when uploading the vids and pics.
Anyone have any ideas on how I can get the S6 phone syncing also?
This is classic business failure in the Appcloud era. Fundamental failure of a product feature (this featured used to work and so I paid for an account and now it doesn't, on multiple devices).
PLUS total failure of the app/service maker to offer any answers.

Hi Folks, my problem has changed, after windows 10 updates and a Android update I no longer get an error message I now get Dropbox didn't find any new photos or videos on Galaxy S5. When clearly there are lots of photos to upload. Grrrrrrrr.
I get this message when I have duplicate file names trying to upload (such as photos that have been imported in the past, from a different device that uses the same naming conventions) and rather than asking to rename the new file, it just gives the error that it's unable to upload however many photos that are supposedly duplicates. My problem is that I can't figure out which photos are not being uploaded, as the program doesn't return the error message with those details. So I can't even find the duplicate file names on my computer and rename them to allow the new photos to upload properly. I'm using an IPhone6SPlus but it could be the same issue others are having.
EXACT same problem with my iPhone 7s (as of July, 2018). This after more than a year of uneventful downloads, now I'll get something like "41 photos or videos could not be imported." What is THIS?????? I don't get it. VERY frustrating--and so disappointing that Dropbox support doesn't even respond.
