Followed Dropbox's instructions to uninstall dropbox from Mac. https://www.dropbox.com/help/41 Was able to disconnect, but when dragging the Dropbox app from Application folder I get the following message "Dropbox can't be removed to tash because some of its plugins are in use". I looked to see if dropbox is running in the menu bar, & looked for it in finder. All I see is the App in my Applications folder. How do I delete it from my App folder?
Open your APPLICATIONS from your FINDER
Select DROPBOX while holding down your CONTROL button
Choose SHOW PACKAGE CONTENTS
Drag the CONTENTS folder to the TRASH
Then drag the actual DROPBOX app to the trash
Empty your TRASH
It took a while to figure out. Hope it helps
I can't get the settings on the drop box menu to show a " delete " key or icon. I am trying to uninstall as well. Ideas ?
Thanks. That will brilliant if it works.
You may take the day off.
Thanks a lot!
