Trouble with syncing

I have a new computer and have an error with my syncing. Yet I can find no one at Dropbox to talk to about this. I have had to completely disable the syncing because on my slow internet, it will take 2 days to complete. How can I check what is actually happening? This should have all happened automatically when I transferred the material from one computer to the next. I think I may have pressed the wrong option, but there is no one to ask. Why?

Hi there @Amanda Lewis, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with this!

 

Can you let me know what issue you're having with the desktop app syncing? Please send a screenshot of any errors that you're getting.

 

Syncing issues can be quite broad in terms of what the issue actually is, so please provide as much detail as possible as I'd be happy to help out with this.
