Sorry to jump in here, but I believe @Mark was referring to this Help Center article, Zach.
If you're still getting an error along the way, please launch your computer's 'Activity Monitor and see if there are any items that refer to Dropbox, or recognize any programs that you may have linked to Dropbox.
In case you find any, please force-quit them and try uninstalling anew.
