I'm using Dropbox v85.4.155 on Ubuntu 18.04.
One of the best Dropbox share functionality is "rigth click" link. Was...
And it's gone... 😞 .
Sometimes (after few times turn off/on Dropbox, restart PC) it appears. But more often function is missing.
Any ideas how to fix it??

Hello @manciusm, thanks for reaching out to us here!
When you see that the option is missing from the right click menu, can you let me know what your Dropbox sync status is showing?
Perhaps you can try just installing the latest stable version again from here to see if that does the trick. You shouldn't need to uninstall before doing this, but can do so if you prefer.
Let me know what you find - thanks!

Thanks for quick replay
Sync status is "up to date"
Dropbox is just after fresh (2hours ago) reinstall (because of other issues).
Right click functionality is missing already few weeks.
Any other ideas?
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly here @manciusm!
Would you mind just letting me know which desktop environment you're running? You can find the requirements here if you'd like to check.
If you're running one of the environments listed there, can I reached out to the email linked with your Community profile so we can look into this further?
Keep me posted - cheers!

Hi @manciusm,
Are you sure the latest version of nautilus plugin gots installed? You can check Nautilus & Dropbox plugin versions using:
apt show nautilus dropbox 2> /dev/null | grep -B 1 Version
Can you post the result in your next reply?
Hope this will make a step to solution.

Is that the only output? Nothing about Dropbox!? Are you sure? If so, you haven't installed your plugin (Dropbox debian package, in fact) properly. Probably some parts of earlier installed unmanaged package is left. Install it more carefully. If needed, advanced reinstall could be a good choice.
Yes! Thats the only output. 🙂 .
Should I reinstall once again by following these instructions?
As idea Yes, but there are lot of errors. Those "advanced reinstall" instructions are prepared from PR staff... Some of the commands will give errors in all cases. Better try following (littlebit optimised) commands:
dropbox stop sudo apt-get remove nautilus-dropbox sudo rm -f /usr/lib/nautilus/extensions-2.0/libnautilus-dropbox.so /usr/lib/nautilus/extensions-3.0/libnautilus-dropbox.so /usr/bin/dropbox
Will be ask for your password (sudo). This should clear the setup enough. After that download debian package suitable for your system (32 or 64 bit) from here. After that, open downloaded package in the default Software Center and install it. At that moment everything should work again.
Hope this helps.
