Ubuntu CLI client: disable popup notifications of Dropbox activity

Helpful | Level 6
Ubuntu 19.10
Dropbox daemon version: 91.4.548
Dropbox command-line interface version: 2019.02.14

When files are added to ny Dropbox I will get popups giving filenames of files that have been added. I want to stop this.

On searching for solutions I see reference to th Dropbox GUI application. I don't have one. I have a Dropbox item in my menu but it doesn't do anything.

Otherwise Dropbox is working fine. No errors in logs or signs of distress.

Oh... In such a case, these settings are not available neither for seeing or changing through CLI, as far as I know. Your idea would be good feature request.

Hi @Stephen B.25,

Have you some problem reaching notification settings/tab in your preferences?

Hope this gives a direction.

I have no Dropbox GUI preference. Only CLI. And I dont see any listing for notifications in the CLI man page
