Unable to Remove Icon from System Tray

Unable to Remove Icon from System Tray

Hi. Dropbox is showing in the System Tray on Startup.

The Dropbox preference already has 'Start dropbox on System Startup' unticked.

My Task Manager also has Dropbox disabled on Startup.

I only open the application when I need to use it it so I'm fine if it's hanging in the startup tray; and then I click 'Quit' when I'm done using it. Although it's still hanging around on Startup.

How else do I remove the application?

Hi Daphne. The problem seems to have disappeared now. Not sure how.

Thanks for getting back promptly -  I'll let you know if it reappears.

Hi there @Icicle, thanks for posting!

Could you send me a screenshot of the icon that you see when you startup your computer?

Also, if you launch the Task Manager after starting your computer, does the Dropbox app show as an active and running application?

Looking forward to hearing back from you!
