Hi there,
hoping I can find an answer to my Smart Sync problem.
I have a Plus account for an individual user that has my Work Dropbox connected to it.
Smart Sync is working great on my personal files and folders.
BUT I can only use Selective Sync for my work files and folders.
Is there any way that I can use Smart Sync with my Work Dropbox or is this not a feature that's available with a PLus account?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Jane
Happy to be able to help, @jlaws!
You are correct - if you want to Smart Sync your work files without upgrading the work account to a paid plan, then disbanding the free team and migrating your content to the personal account sounds like the most suitable way forward.
Let me know if I can help with anything else moving forwards!

Hi @jlaws, thanks for reaching out!
If I understand correctly, you have your individual Plus account connected to a second account which is part of a Business team plan, is that correct?
If this is the case, it could be that your Team Admin has opted the team out of the feature, and so you don't see Smart Sync on your end.
Alternatively, if your work account is in a Free team plan (as opposed to a paid Business plan) then Smart Sync would not be supported by default.
Let me know what you find, and we'll continue from here if needed!

Hi Celeste2,
thanks for such a fast response!
It's a free team plan, sadly. But at least I know why it isn't working now though 🙂
So, I'm guessing that my only option is to let the free team plan go and just keep all my folders in my personal account so they at least can benefit from Smart Sync?
I looked at upgrading my account but the team folder is only available on the business accounts for which you have to pay for a minimum of three users. As there's only me in my business, it's not really a suitable option.
Does that sound right or is there another option I could consider?
