Unable to install Dropbox on iPad 2

I am running iOS 9.3.5 on my iPad 2. When I go to install the app it says: "Dropbox" is not compatible with this iPad. I've seen the similar post on here about finding Dropbox in app store under "Purchased" and selecting version history...problem is I have never installed Dropbox before on this iPad so it cannot be found in "Purchased"

Hi there @Andrew26, thanks for checking in with us.

Currently, to be able to install the mobile app on your iOS, you need to be running an operating system of 11 or later

However, you should be able to use your mobile's web browser to navigate through your Dropbox account. 

I understand that this may not be the ideal reply you were looking for, but let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
