I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right category. I have rather large video files on my K Drive because that drive has 2 TB of space. I've downloaded Dropbox on my PC Windows 10 OS. Is there a way to sync specific folders on my K Drive automatically to Dropbox online?
I do have Dropbox Plus plan so I believe Smart Sync is now included. However, I'm unsure how to select the folders I want to sync.
If you’re using the desktop app to sync your files, the app is only able to sync content that is within the Dropbox folder.
To have these videos in your Dropbox account you can upload them via the Dropbox folder on your desktop. You can move/copy the videos to the Dropbox folder, allow them to sync to your account and then apply Smart Sync to the files so that they don’t take space on your hard drive.
You can also upload the videos via the website, but this will need to be done manually also. However, if you have the correct settings applied then new files will sync to your Dropbox folder as“online only” instead of locally, the steps to check this are below:
