Unable to update the Dropbox app to a newer version

My Dropbox keeps saying it’s using an older version and won’t update

What operating system and version are you on?

 

You may need to download the latest version and install it manually. That will usually correct most update issues.

Additionally to what @Rich suggested, I just wanted to mention the mobile installer in case you’re referring to the Dropbox mobile app
